The broadcast of the Champions League final was delayed.
This, because fans were registered trying to enter without a ticket.
The police acted immediately, the players took the opportunity to warm up and the match was resumed; however, in the entire history of the competition a similar event had not been recorded.
The Stade de France is hosting the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid; nevertheless, HBO Max started streaming late due to a fan-generated stadium security issue.
The fans of football lovers can reach extreme levels of cheering to lead to a wave of violence in the stadium. The issue of security in stadiums is very delicate, UEFA has high on its agenda to ensure the safety of fans at football matches across Europe.
“We believe that spectators have the right to expect that football events take place in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment, and that they can feel emotion and not fear or concern”, the President of the UEFA.
Although the Stade de France has logistics ready, The fans decided to avoid the security personnel and caused a delay causing inconvenience to those people who paid their ticket and arrived at the place in a timely manner.
In several videos broadcast on the internet it is visible that people are skipping the controls and are accessing the venue and the security uses tear gas, which caused some attendees to run for shelter, among them was the brother of the soccer player Joel Matip.
“Joel Matip’s brother Marvin on the situation around the Stade de France: “The organization around and in the stadium is not worthy of a CL final! Using tear gas in areas with uninvolved children and fans is dangerous!” says @Plettigoal #UCLFinal”, Italian journalist specializing in world football transfer markets, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted.

Champions League is not usually delayed: only Covid-19 had generated delays
With the arrival of the health crisis and the stoppage of sporting events, the Champions League was postponed and left fans with a year without an event. Only in 2020, UEFA considered it pertinent to move it to August 23 when it was scheduled for May 27.
Previously, a similar event, where officers use gas, had not been recorded.
