One of the biggest leaks that are remembered in the industry has been the one that GTA VI has experienced. Rockstar has suffered the theft of a large amount of material about its next installment and it is a duro blow against Take-Twomother company.
Rockstar owners have several studios in their portfolio and now another is experiencing a hacker attack. This is the case of the 2K Support Service, the company in charge of offering us NBA 2K deliveries every year. This is the statement they have shared on Twitter.

A message from 2K Support
Just today we have become aware that an unauthorized third party has illegally accessed the passwords of one of our providers of the helpdesk platform that 2K uses to support our customers. The unauthorized member sent a message to certain players that contained a malicious link. Please do not open any emails or click on any links you receive from the 2K Games support account. If you have already clicked on this link, we recommend that you immediately take the following precautionary measures:
Reset any user account passwords stored in your web browser (for example, Chrome AutoFill)
Turn on multi-factor authentication (MFA) whenever it’s available, especially on personal email,
banking and telephone accounts or Internet providers. If possible, avoid using MFA that is based on text messages; the most secure method is to use an authenticator app.
Install and run a reputable antivirus program
Check your account settings to see if any forwarding rules have been added or changed in your personal email accounts.
Please note that 2K staff will never ask you for your password or other personal information. Our support portal will remain offline while we continue to address this issue. We’ll issue a notice when you can interact with the official 2K Help Desk again, and we’ll also let you know how you can best protect yourself against any malicious activity.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and disruption this matter may cause. We appreciate the continued support and understanding of our player communities.
For now, 2K has not communicated who is responsible for the unauthorized attack on its platform. The main consequence of this intrusion is that users affiliated with the system mayreceive an email with malicious content.
Obviously, in this case it is best to follow all the steps and recommendations made by the 2K team to avoid any kind of disappointment. Meanwhile, we must wait for new information from the company. Rockstar, for its part, has already mobilized and has issued a statement with everything that happened with GTA VI.
