After confirming in his last call with investors that at the end of this month they will present a new franchise, Take-Two seems to still have several tricks up its sleeve. Specifically three, since thanks to the financial report for the first quarter of the fiscal year, some juicy information has been revealed.
On page nine, in the “Pipeline Details” section, we can read that the company is currently working on six “new iterations of previously released titles”. Of that group, we already know half.
One of them will arrive in November with GTA V for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, another will be the version for the next generation consoles of Kerbal Space Program, while the third will be the possibility of getting GTA Online independently.
If the math doesn’t fail us, that leaves us with three more possible iterations. From here the range of possibilities is wide, being able to resort to a remaster from Red Dead Redemption 2, a remake of the first Max Payne or another remake of an older GTA, such as GTA III or GTA Vice City.
Either way, it will touch wait until Take-Two announces news. The closest is expected to take place during Gamescom and it may be time to preview some of these iterations.
