Saber Interactive has announced a delay in the release date of Evil Dead: The Game, a title developed by Boss Team Games that was scheduled to premiere this year. Finally, players will have to wait until February 2022 to be enjoyed on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game is inspired by the three original Evil Dead films, as well as the original television series, Ash vs Evil Dead, and will allow players to step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends to work together.
Evil Dead: The Game, which revealed its playability at E3, is a game that promises to feature the best of co-op and multiplayer PvP action having to play in teams of four survivors, exploring, looting, creating, overcoming fears and finding key objects to seal the rift between the worlds. Its characters include Ash, Scotty, Lord Arthur, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simón Bolívar and many more, with dialogues by Bruce Campbell, Dana DeLorenzo, Ray Santiago and other voices from the franchise.
Another possibility of the game is to get away from fighting for the forces of good to take control of the powerful demon Kandarian to hunt down Ash and the rest of the players while possessing spirits, demons, the environment, and even the survivors themselves while trying to absorb their souls. Ultimately, players can split a spirit in two with Ash’s famous chainsaw hand, fly across the map in the ghost form of the Kandarian demon, explore the classic cabin, and even take a ride in the Delta. In this way, the Evil Dead saga will be represented in a notorious way in a video game that aims to be terrifying.
