Microsoft was one of the companies that benefited the most from the explosion of artificial intelligence, with OpenAI’s ChatGPT. The American company, recognized as one of the pioneers in the world of computing, brought back its Bing search engine and integrated the function of the GPT from Sam Altman’s company.
This is how it was born Bing Chatwhich emerged as one of the alternatives for those who did not want to pay for the subscription version of ChatGPT and were already paying Microsoft 365. However, for many users it has been confusing that the company has tried to merge this mechanism with Copilot, to group all its apps into a single program.
Now they seem to have found the right way with the evolution of Bing Chat to Microsoft Copilot. The name change came as part of an effort to unify Microsoft’s AI services under a single brand.
“At Microsoft Ignite 2023, we are announcing new innovations in Microsoft Copilot: a co-pilot experience that spans all our surfaces and understands your context across the web, on your PC, and at work to give you the right skills when you need them at work and life. Microsoft is the Copilot company. And soon there will be a Copilot for everyone and for everything they do,” the company says on its blog, according to a review ArsTechnica.
Wow Microsoft has released its alternative to ChatGPT custom GPTs.
You can build autonomous co-pilots (=GPTs) with a no-code tool.
It’s called Copilot Studio and it allows you to connect Copilot (=ChatGPT) to your data sources.

The aforementioned media reports that Microsoft Copilot offers a personalized chat interface for each user. Although there are users who say that the program forces you to use Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, the highlight of this new release is that now you can also use it in Safari.
Another positive issue to highlight is that Microsoft Copilot continues to integrate the most recent versions of the OpenAI GPTs, perhaps the best currently.
