Steve Jobs was a winner. Just taking a look at Apple and knowing that its growth was thanks to his ideas, is proof enough to attest to our statement. That’s not to say, however, that he didn’t face adversity during his tenure at the now giant Cupertino.
In fact, there was a time when he was even removed from his own company. It happened in 1985, when he was unusually fired from Apple. Jobs had been a controversial leader at the company, and his relationship with the board of directors had deteriorated. Ultimately, the group of directors decided to fire him, which left him devastated.
Did that make you stop working on your projects? Quite the opposite. Steve Jobs spent the next several years working at startups like NeXT and Pixar.
Finally, in 1997, Apple hired him again to help revitalize the company. The genius behind the growth of the bitten apple company faced a considerable challenge, as Apple was on the brink of bankruptcy.
A review of computer today he gets into the memory trunk and pulls out old statements by Steve Jobs in which he highlights a simple characteristic to differentiate the winners from the mediocrity.
Bluntly, Steve Jobs says in a 1994 interview, when he was away from Apple: “Here’s the key: be willing to take risks and not be afraid of failure.”
Look if his ideology will have served, that after his return the company rose in such a way that even after his death, in 2010, it continues to record profits at the expense of his thinking.
