Bibiana Mantilla (Bea) is an emotionally intuitive and curious five-year-old Mexican girl on her quest to understand true friendship. With great empathy, Bea can pick up on the feelings of others. Also, she loves singing and speaks both English and Spanish. The treehouse in her garden is the gathering place for her and her friends.
Ty
He is a curious and inventive African-American boy who loves new ideas and experiences. Ty likes to build and create innovative devices out of simple, low-tech materials. He resembles his Grandma Vi—inventor and world traveler—and has his own “inventor/fixer” space in his Grandma Vi’s shed. Ty is a thinker and problem solver, with a great sense of humor, and he also loves superheroes.
Lexi
