The note indicated that the group of Asian businessmen visits the country as part of the efforts between the Ministry of Economy and the US-Mexico CEO Dialogue, a cooperation mechanism between the CCE and the United States Chamber of Commerce, specifically the Investment Group .

As part of this analysis, the statement explained, “contact was established with the Taiwanese industry and the most important electronics and printed circuit associations in the Asian country, to address the need to diversify the market and explore investment opportunities in Mexico.”
For this reason, it was agreed to establish a Mexico-Taiwan Working Group “to identify the segments of the printed circuit supply chain with the potential to be produced or designed in North America, as well as the essential requirements of the Taiwanese industry.”
Among the actions of the Working Group, the presentations by the Ministry of Economy where details of the business environment in Mexico were shared, the visit made to Taiwanese companies in Ciudad Juárez (Chihuahua), north of the country, as well as the visit to Taiwan by officials from the Ministry of Economy where the current visit of the business delegation from Taiwan took place.
