Sony has no intention of stopping at expanding its own wall-crawling cinematic universe. And it is on the eve of the premiere of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse that the high command of the study confirm the development of several projects for cinemas.
In interview with Variety during the premiere of the sequel in Los Angeles, Amy Pascal revealed that they are already working on a movie live action about Miles Morales and an animated feature film about Spider-Woman. “You will see them all. They are all happening, ”said the producer.
In both cases no specific details are provided. Last February, Pascal had already commented to Empire regarding a version live action of Miles Morales that fans would have to “wait a couple of years to see what we do.” In this sense, it is unknown if he would be the same as Thousands of animated films, whose trilogy will conclude with Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse in 2024; Or, if it will be a new iteration for the universe of spin offs from Sony, or even for the MCU where its existence has already been hinted at.
Regarding Spider-Woman, Variety speculates that the animated film would be a spin-off of the Spider-Gwen already established in the tapes of Spider-Verse. A possibility that gains strength when considering that the producer Avi Arad pointed out to the medium that the audience will see this film much “earlier than they expect.” And he added: “I can’t tell you yet, but it’s on the way.”

Amy Pascal also referred to the current status of the fourth installment of the Spider-Man saga with Tom Holland. The production company mentioned that the feature film co-produced with Marvel Studios has gone on hiatus, as a result of the writers’ strike in the United States.
