Last Sunday May 21, Universitario de Deportes beat Alianza Lima 1-0 in a new edition of the women’s classic, with annotation by Xioczana Canales. However, after the match between the meringues and the blue and whites, the sports issue was not the only thing that was discussed, with attitudes of four Alianza Lima players (Rosa Castro, Gianella Romero, Sashenka Porras and Alison Azavache) outraging the cream managers, who pointed out unsportsmanlike conduct and provocation -by the aforementioned athletes- towards the fans who gathered at the colossus of Ate.
In the midst of this scenario, the representatives of the student club decided to file a complaint, before the Disciplinary Commission of the Peruvian Football Federation (CD-FPF) to open a disciplinary process and sanction the soccer players for the events that – they indicated – occurred in the preview of the women’s classic at the Monumental.
“In accordance with the FPF’s Single Justice Regulations, we filed a complaint against the soccer players Rosa Adriana Castro Tello, Gianella Iveth Romero de la Cruz, Sashenka Tamara Porras Dreyfus and Alison Crystel Azavache Rengifo of the women’s team of the Alianza Lima club, for unsportsmanlike conduct that includes acts of provocation to the public and our soccer players”held the document of University of Sports after the duel against Lima Alliance.
After presenting their arguments, the CD-FPF responded to the meringues’ complaint and began the disciplinary and investigative process to determine if there will be any exemplary sanction for the soccer players, notifying the La Victoria club so that it can present its defense in the next few days, according to RPP.
