ASUS Republic of Gamersbetter known as the ASUS ROG line for gamers, launched a new series of power supplies, dubbed the Strix Gold Aura Edition.
According to the report published on the website of Geekzillathese new fonts incorporate the latest compatibility ATX 3.0, improved cooling, 16-pin PCI Express (PCIe) support, and Aura Sync RGB lighting integrated.
The Strix Gold Aura Edition series, available in variants of 750W, 850W, 1,000W and 1,200Wit differs from others in the competition by having a larger heatsink that allows cool and quiet operation.
With twice the volume of traditional power supply heatsinks, this design reduces temperatures, increases component life, and extends operation to 0dB under light to medium loads.
modern and elegant
In this Asus ROG series, the power supply is encased in a sleek aluminum chassis that acts as its own heatsink, further reducing temperatures and minimizing noise.
“All this heat dissipation is helped by our 135mm axial fan design. With double ball bearings for long-term operation and efficient, low-ESR Japanese capacitors that last up to twice that of standard ones”, highlights Asus.
The biggest improvement is the new 16-pin power connector for modern graphics cards. While previous power supplies required an adapter for use with certain modern GPUs, Strix Gold Aura Edition power supplies include a native 16-pin PCIe cable that can channel up to 600W of clean power.
Regarding lighting, it has a 10-year warranty and is compatible with Aura Sync, with the new RGB lighting of the ROG Fearless Eye logo.
The new Strix Gold Aura Edition power sources will soon be available worldwide and prices may vary in different countries. Asus recommends looking for local retailers or official stores.
