- The ENARM 2022 offered 27 different specialties to choose from.
- Higher test scores have the “advantage” of selecting before others.
- From October 28 to November 7, all applicants must comply with this process.
The process of National Examination of Applicants for Medical Residencies (ENARM) 2022 It is located at one of the determining points for all applicants. After months of study, the test was finally applied to almost 50,000 young people. Each one already knows their final score and now they must choose their specialty.
What is ENAR?
It is a test that measures the knowledge of general practitioners. The exam explores cognitive competencies contextualized in clinical cases focused on Public Health, Emergencies and Family Medicine of four core specialties.
- Internal Medicine.
- Pediatrics.
- Gynecology-Obstetrics.
- General Surgery.
The exam includes questions structured in reagents with a clinical case format, containing two to three questions for each clinical case; a single correct answer option in the best answer modality and three distractors.
Traditionally, the choice of specialty was made from the registry. Instead, starting with the most recent editions, the process was reversed. Now it is until after presenting the exam that this decision must be made.
For its part, what is important now is the order in which applicants can choose their specialty. Those who got the highest scores are the first in the “virtual queue”. Therefore, they are the ones with the highest probability of selecting the option of their choice.
After a last minute change of Interinstitutional Commission for the Training of Human Resources for Health (CIFRHS) it was determined that From October 28 to November 7, all applicants must comply with this process.
