Goku must be the most popular anime character in the whole world. Akira Toriyama made him popular in his most recognized work, Dragon Ball, in the 80s and since then, those of us who come from that time have grown up with the little tailed warrior capable of facing any villain.
It’s not the best character design we’ve seen in all of anime history. It is a simple drawing that anyone with a minimum of skill with a pencil can do.
Nevertheless, his personality in Dragon Ball adventures and the power that they give to this individual makes him have one of the greatest recognitions worldwide.
Even those ignorant of the subject mention Dragon Ball as “that series in which Goku comes out”. You can imagine that those who do enjoy the work of Akira Toriyama has the Saiyan raised on Earth as one of his favorite characters.
Fortunately, this means that illustrators from all over the world venture to capture Goku under their own art and imagination. As the renowned Chilean designer did salvamakotowho drew Goku in four different versions based on manga completely different from Dragon Ball.
We have seen and reviewed Salvamakoto’s work previously on our website. We can highlight, among those related to crossovers that give the illustrator original designs, the one that the Chilean made of Goku with the costume of the leader of the Power Rangers; the Red.
Goku from Dragon Ball in the style of other manga
For this design, Salvamakoto was based on the following four manga or anime: Fist of the North Star; detective conan; Knights of the zodiac and Super champions.
In each of the drawings we see the main characteristics of Goku, but the style of other mangaka is remarkable.
