The Trident brand has unveiled the new Maserati Gran Turismo in society. A new coupé for access to the Modena brand’s range of sports cars, which will be presented shortly. It will hit the market in 2023 with gasoline engines and a powerful Folgore electric.
A few weeks ago the mark of the Trident discovered the new Maserati GranTurismo Folgore at the Pebble Beach Concourse of Elegance, without any camouflage on its bodywork. Now, those of Modena have returned to give a preview of the new Italian sports car, although this time it is the combustion variant of the two-door coupé.
A second installment of Maserati GranTurismo which has also shed the camouflage that hid its main aesthetic features, exposing its beautiful lines. Its vertically extended headlights, the large radiator grille that occupies practically the entire front bumper, and with a spoiler on the lower lip. The side features the three usual gills on front flippersalong with the brand name, also highlighting the rounded rear shoulders and the large alloy wheels.

The new sports car also has attractive rear lights, arranged horizontally, and a rear apron in which they have been fitted. four spherical exhaust tipswith a good diameter, a sign of the high power that hides under the front hood.
For now, Maserati has left the interior in the inkwell, which has not been shown or in the electric version of the GranTurismo Folgore nor in this combustion engine, although it will have a digital instrument panel and a large touch screen, in addition to four seats, with the rear ones in the classic sports distribution of 2+2 seats. A true icon that is finishing up its production specifications, traveling thousands of kilometers to offer dynamic behavior with a high degree of comfort but also a more than high sports sensations.
The Italian manufacturer has confirmed that this new generation of the Maserati GranTurismo will have two versions, each one more sporty, with the Modena and Trofeo equipped with the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 enginethe “nettune». A new generation block that does not need electrification to offer high performance as it does in the new MC20, although the specifications and its performance remain to be specified. The Gran Turismo will offer a maximum power greater than 500 hp but without stepping on the ground of the older brother.
