Although in 2020 Marvel fans did not have new projects, the truth is that the studio is working hard to launch the new plans that are on the way. After the premiere of WandaVision, the team is planning new series, such as Moon Knight. A new fiction that will be part of Disney + and that will feature Ethan Hawke in its cast.
At the moment, it was only known that the cast was to be headed by Oscar Isaac and May Calamawy. But recently, a new signing was unveiled that surprised many fans. Actor Ethan Hawke will join Moon Knight as the series’ villain, The Hollywood Reporter announced. At the moment it is not known who will be the enemy of the Moon Knight that the protagonist embodies.
Moon Knight is a character created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, he made his comic book debut in 1975 in Werewolf by Night #32 and has since garnered many fans around the world.
A new project
The Disney + series is being developed by producer and screenwriter Jeremy Slater, head of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy. Filmmakers Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will direct the episodes. For now, we do not know how many episodes the first season will consist of or how long they will last.
Months ago it was announced that Oscar Isaac had been chosen the protagonist of Moon Knight, but so far Marvel did not confirm it officially. On the other hand, it was the cinematographer Gregory Middleton who released the information and confirmed the actor as the protagonist. If so, Ethan Hawke would join a cast led by Isaac.
