the area of human Resources is key and in this interview they reveal tips that you cannot throw on deaf ears, in the voice of a director with great experience in the matter.
Merca2.0 What is positive leadership and how to explain it in the CV, before arriving at a job interview?
Renata Maldonado – More than a trend, positive leadership is on its way to being the backbone of the organizational culture of companies. Executives who transform their leadership style with a positive approach produce not only individual change, but collective change, as they transform the organizational culture and generate sustainable results over time.
Leading with a more human perspective contributes to improving the collaborator’s experience in the workplace, which also helps retain talent and increase the potential of people individually and collectively, speaking of work teams.
The way I suggest approaching it in a CV is by describing our leadership qualities, using those adjectives that best fit our leadership style. Whether we identify as innovative, inclusive, objective or influential, those adjectives are what will stand out the moment a recruiter is interested in our profile.
Merca2.0 – How to describe soft skills in a CV to interest the recruiter and more importantly, how to develop them?
Renata Maldonado – The description of soft skills in a CV helps to form an idea of the personal and interpersonal qualities of a candidate, so without a doubt it is important not only to include them but also to include those that the person really has developed.
The way in which this combination of skills can be integrated into a CV is throughout the document, that is, both in the skills and achievements sections, as well as in the objective section in a concise manner. Another space in which a candidate can highlight these skills is in his cover letter where he somehow has the opportunity to explain why his profile fits the talent needs that a company outsources.
I take this opportunity to mention that at Natura we are committed to helping our talent develop soft skills; we implement new learning ecosystems, where they have the opportunity to discover their strengths and develop new knowledge.
Merca2.0 What traps are there in a job interview and how to turn them around?
Renata Maldonado – The best known are the “trick questions” that in reality are not, what is sought with these questions is to highlight the interests, values, development in the face of difficulties and resolution capacity in the face of setbacks.
What I recommend from my experience is to respond in an optimal and sincere way at all times, highlighting skills, experience and above all your interests in the short, medium and long term.
