All those who are willing to get their hands on the future A Plague Tale: Requiem knew that today was an important day because Focus Entertainment anticipated that it was going to leave us with a new gameplay of the game that would serve to reveal its release date. So, true to his word, we already know when the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence will arrive.
It will be on October 18 when Amicia and Hugo will once again be at the forefront of an epic adventure that promises to make us experience all kinds of situations. In this new preview we have gone from witnessing a moving scene starring this pair of brothers playing with a swing, from there to a chase and to finish a more dramatic sequence.
To get started, stealth parts will be the order of the day again, although this time our intrepid characters will be able to resort to more methods to get ahead. For example, Hugo will be able to detect when there are people nearby or if they are behind a wall thanks to his special abilities generated by the rats.
For her part, Amicia will be equipped with weapons such as a crossbow to attack from a distance or a knife to stab any enemy nearby. She, in turn, will be able to take advantage of different types of potions, such as ones that will set fire to everything around her or others that will raise a cloud of smoke.
And if there is something that also stands out among all the novelties, it is Hugo’s power to call the rats. At that moment, the camera will be placed inside this horde of rodents that will move at full speed around the stage to devour any human they catch on the way in just a second, demonstrating once again how dangerous they can be.
A Plague Tale: Requiem has managed to conquer us once again with this new gameplay and we are already counting down the days until its launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch in the cloud, PC and also through Xbox Game Pass.
