In the post-pandemic era, according to the report “Labor Trends Index 2022” recently published by microsoftpeople in Latin America have changed their priorities.
2020 was the year everything changed thanks to the arrival of Covid-19 yy long pandemic that, to this day, continues to be one of the greatest challenges to overcome.
According to official figures, there are currently more than 495 confirmed cases of Covid-19 worldwide, of which just over six million people have died from the disease.
This has meant that, in various regions, people have changed their priorities in the face of the post-pandemic era.
And it is that, for a large number of people, the last two years involved re-evaluating the place that work occupies in their lives and beginning to pay more attention to the balance between the world of work and private life.
This is revealed by the study published by Microsoft, which states that at least seven out of ten respondents in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico consider that, after the Covid-19 pandemic, they are more likely to prioritize their health. and well-being above work.
The opposite is true in regions such as Europe and Asia, where fewer of those surveyed said the pandemic likely upended their work priorities to pay more attention to wellness.
On the other hand, according to the report, more than half of workers worldwide have a new perspective on life due to the arrival of the pandemic.
Now, after several waves of infections, each one with its respective danger, work is seen as just a part of life, while health, family, time and a sense of purpose occupy, today, a place more important.
