The city of Night City from Cyberpunk 2077 is a really huge place, but it seems that it could have become even bigger or offer more possibilities as a result of a leaked video that has come to light, which shows us that the RPG action by CD Projekt RED could have had a subway system as a method of transportation.
The video in question is an excerpt from a trailer published four years ago in which we can see the construction and the skeleton of what could have been the subway tracks of this futuristic city, which indicates that among the plans of the Polish company had one to make traveling through Night City even easier.
For some reason the idea was discarded completely, since since the game was launched something similar has not been seen anywhere. Furthermore, Marcin Momot, Director of Global Communications at CD Projekt RED, he stated last month from his Twitter account that there is no intention to add a subway network to the game.
Perhaps it was due to lack of resources, because the idea did not materialize or the team simply considered that it was too complicated to develop it. We will never know, but on the other hand, perhaps that would have caused the title to be even more broken, hence a year and four months after its launch it continues to receive updates to improve it even more.
