Creators from all over the world work together to recreate the Earth bit by bit.
Over the years, we’ve seen some really crazy and ambitious Minecraft construction projects, but nothing can come close to this initiative from recreate the Earth at 1:1 scale in which more than 14,000 players from all over the world already participate. The goal is for creators from all over the world to come together to capture part of their culture and identity in this project that seeks to unite society without barriers.
“Our mission is to completely recreate the Earth in Minecraft at a 1:1 scale. A block in Minecraft is roughly equal to a meter in the real world., which means that this project will completely recreate the size of our planet. Anyone can join us and contribute to the largest and most extensive construction project that has been attempted in Minecraft, “say those responsible for the project through their official Web. “Every language, nationality and regional difference is accepted and regarded as our greatest asset as we continue our journey to unite all of humanity’s great achievements into one Minecraft world.
If you want to participate in this project, make sure you follow the steps indicated on the website. It will be as easy as registering in the community, joining the discord channel and starting to build in one of the already established groups or on your own. Later that work is uploaded to the web and entered in the “master world” containing the work of the rest of the builders. Until now, cities such as London, Budapest or the city of Basel, in Switzerland, among many others throughout the globe, have already been recreated.
It will never cease to amaze the ability of Minecraft to bring people together and help them project their own individual and cultural identity based on blocks. We will see how this project progresses in the coming months.
