Aiways, MG, Seres, Nio and Xpeng are already introducing their new electric models in Europe at a giant pace. The latter was a success in Norway last year with the G3, and now the Xpeng P5 saloon reaches the main European countries where it already has prices.
A little over a year ago Xpeng made its debut in the Old Continent with an electric model, the G3. A zero-emission SUV that became a commercial success in the Norwegian electric market in the first quarter of last year alone with 300 units delivered to customers in one fell swoop. According to the company, it sold 27,041 units of the G3 and the P7 sports saloon.
Now, the Chinese firm debuts another zero-emission sedan with a truly cutting-edge design inside and out, and with an arsenal of technology. The new xpeng p5 it is a 4.8 meter sedan that has just been put for sale in Denmark, Sweden, Holland and Norway, although in a more basic version than the one presented at the Guangzhou Motor Show, and sold in China. The big difference lies in the technical specifications of its equipment, since the Asian model has an autonomous driving system “Xpilot 3.5”.

It has only been announced that Xpeng will offer two versions, one of front-wheel drive with the engine placed on the front axle and another with all-wheel drive which will add an electric motor on the rear axle. The capacity of the most basic battery amounts to 66 kWh, with which it has a maximum autonomy of 465 kilometers with a single charge. The firm will offer a second level, which is expected to rise to 600 kilometers.
