After the successes of Life is Strange and Vampir, the developer dontnod only seeks to repeat past milestones through a series of ambitious plans that encompass release several games in the next few years. The Parisian company expanded by locating a subsidiary studio in Montreal and has now revealed having up to six ongoing internal projects. All of them are expected to be released between the years 2022 and 2025, although he has not specified the title of any of them.
“In four years, our income has multiplied by five until reaching a record level in 2021”, [explicó](https://www.gamesradar.com/life-is-strange-developer-plans-to-release-six-games-by-end-of-2025/) CEO Oskar Guilbert. “This dynamic is notably related to the success of Life is Strange and Vampyr, which we intend to continue to capitalize on. It is therefore natural that we decide to accelerate our investments in new game development capabilities that will follow the same line, both in the multi-project center in Montreal and in the role-playing game center in Paris”.
At the moment it is unknown what the next release of Dontnod will be, which has the mysterious Project 8 behind it as a Action RPG in collaboration with Focus Entertainment, publisher of Vampire. In Montreal it is known that the company is building a multi-project division “with a strong narrative component” led by the creators of Life is Strange.
Therefore, we will have to wait to find out about future Dontnod video games, whose greatest financial success has been vampire along with Life is Strange, which today is very present in the players thanks to its remastered version. However, the vampire game sold over two million copies and was downloaded for free more than eight million times through the Epic Store, which has familiarized players with the license to offer a sequel. The same cannot be said for Twin Mirror, a 2020 title with which Dontnod has only covered 75% of its investments in the project.
