Well, despite the fact that not long ago we told you about its requirements on PC, which would also have exclusively ray tracing and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, now its performance will be improved thanks to an update from AMD.
AMD wanted to confirm that the story of Antón Castillo and his henchmen get a performance improvement when installing the new driver Adrenalin 21.10.1 which is available with compatibility for Windows 11. This statement is related to the set of hardware configurations of both the PC and the internal configurations to enjoy the game.
Superior performance in Far Cry 6
In the update notes, it raises three scenarios in which the controller can get different variants in its performance improvement. One of them is with a 12GB RX 6700 XT where you will see up to a 10% increase in performance; a 16GB RX 6800 XT that 12% of said increase will be appreciated; and finally a 8GB RX 6600 XT which will have up to 13% more performance.
Also, Far Cry 6 will not be the only game that will see an improvement thanks to this new AMD driver, this update is also optimized for Battlefield 2042 Open Beta which can be tried starting October 8 and Naraka: Bladepoint. However, the same happens with PUBG that will achieve up to 11% increase in performance in 4K on a graphics card 8GB Radeon RX 6800 XT.
Currently, AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.10.1 It is the first driver to be available for the new Windows 11 operating system, so it is very possible that more drivers will start to come out that offer more optimization improvements.
