It seems that eFootball 2022 will not include cross-save, nor cross-progression. Konami is gearing up to launch its new approach to soccer games, moving from the annual premium releases of Pro Evolution Soccer to a free-to-play format renamed eFootball 2022. This process, however, appears to be quite chaotic as that Konami plans to roll out pieces of eFootball 2022 bit by bit, including the main features and game modes.
A recently shared eFootball 2022 roadmap explains the lack of cross-save and cross-progression. To start with, eFootball 2022 will be released on September 30 without any cross-save between platforms. In other words, to play with friends, many eFootball 2022 players will have to switch platforms and will not be able to transfer progress from other platforms.

Although eFootball 2022 will not include cross-save or cross-progression and has no announced plans to add them in the near future at launch, Konami says that it is not impossible that the feature could be added eventually. According to an official statement from the publisher, they aspire to include it in the future. Konami plans to at least support cross-play later on.
