Ubisoft has unveiled the planned roadmap for Far Cry 6 once it is released on October 7 on PS4, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC with free intergenerational updates. The Season Pass will include three DLC episodes in which players will unravel the minds of the saga’s most legendary villains: Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed. As each episode is released, players will get to know each of these characters better, fighting to escape the horrors in their minds in a new “die and try again” experience inspired by the roguelite genre.
In Far Cry 6 DLC, players will need to find new weapons and unlock power-ups that will make them strengthen and delve even deeper into the psyches of the villains. Featuring a mix of intense action and storytelling, each DLC will provide a unique opportunity to better understand these characters’ past, their personal demons, and their motivations.
Far Cry 6 Season Pass content
The Far Cry 6 Season Pass will be included in the Gold, Ultimate and Collector editions of the game, although it can also be purchased separately for € 39.99, including:
- Three DLC episodes, playable in Solo or Cooperative modes with a friend, even if you don’t have the Season Pass. Vaas: Madness will premiere in November, Pagan: Control in January 2022 and Joseph: Collapse in March 2022.
- Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. PC players will receive the original game released in 2013, while console and Stadia players will receive Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon: Classic Edition.
Far Cry 6 Free Content
Despite the paid DLC, Far Cry 6 will also feature free content after launch. They highlight weekly insurgencies (new threats that players must eliminate), six special operations that will take place in new areas with new mechanics and three crossover missions with special guests and the best brands: Danny Trejo, Rambo and Stranger Things.
