To enjoy the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, it will not be necessary to travel to the French capital because they will also be felt in Madrid. It will be, nothing more and nothing less, than with a replica of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Don’t they say that if the mountain doesn’t go to Mohammed, Mohammed goes to the mountain? Well, something similar is what happens with the replica of the Sleeping Beauty Castle that made many and many we dreamed, at some point in our childhood, that our parents would take us to Disneyland Paris…
It will be installed June 6 in Boadilla del Monte, more specifically, on Juan de la Cierva street, on the corner of Infante don Luis, and it will be made of recycled glass. The theme park has allied itself with Ecovidrio, the non-profit entity in charge of managing the recycling of glass container waste in Spain, and has installed containers with the most famous characters from American studios throughout the city.
With the glass collected in this initiative, which seeks to promote recycling among the smallest, the castle will be built of Boadilla del Monte. In addition, replicas of these special igloos for glass collection can be purchased online in their mini version. All profits will go to Fundación Aladina, dedicated to improving the quality of life of children and adolescents with cancer and their families.
