Since the release of Elden Ring in February 2022, it seems that there are no more topics on the table among the fan community. Although the exploration in the open world directly impacted the players in a very positive way, along with its complex gameplay, it is also true that the game had other successes that have earned it the virtual boom it has had on the networks since then.
In a way, the significant number of tutorials, comments and reflections has affected the popularity of the open world, since it has greatly decreased after these months. However, despite the fact that players have already delved into the finer points of the game, Elden Ring has not given up on continuing to appear on the big shelves. As with previous FromSoftware installments, the developers have taken a close look at the fan reviews and have been catering to the extensive player base.
This means that, to satisfy the concerns and requests, FromSoftware has continued to update its content through patches. The example of one of them, with great success, was the Malenia lifesteal hotifx, in Elden Ring. Predictably, some of the players who have already played other Fromsoftware titles don’t entirely agree with the company’s decisions, especially since some of these patches involve changing bosses. However, the rest of them appreciate the company’s dedication and commitment to its fans.
The new constructions of Elden Ring
Consequently, the continuity of the patches has allowed a wide online presence for Elden Ring, as we mentioned. Especially on networks like Reddit, where communities tend to gather to discuss some important details of their favorite games. In fact, there is a fairly well-known subreddit for Elden Ring, where there are thousands and thousands of posts every day. Among them we find some about character creators, constructions and even some epic battles against the enemies of the open world.
Proof that the contents are constantly being discussed in these forums is that there was a build that caught the attention of other netizens because it shows a curious combination of armor and weapons that other players would classify as a “five-headed” build. You can see it below:
For you to understand better, a “five heads” is a term to describe a strategic game, where he will be able to deploy each of the weapons that the player has planned for battle and use them intelligently during attacks. Similarly, it has also been used for other less serious purposes such as pranks and even memorable moments. An example of this was a player who, while trying to troll another, received his instant karma endowment and died without completing his grim quest.
And while this build doesn’t represent any of the above, it’s just an impressive demonstration of what can be done in the Elden Ring with a little time. Reddit user, ScuddlesHBV, basically intended to show his creation to other fans, where he described the benefits of his new character. He clarified that the armor and weapons placed on each head have their respective purpose. And he is called “five heads” because their composition corresponds to the same number.
For its part, the post has had great success on the game’s subreddit, where not only can we see a large number of upvotes, but it has hundreds of comments that allude to this impressive and creative build in different ways. For example, many fans felt that the build’s weapons or armor could be replaced, making it not only look different, but perhaps more functional. They even suggested increasing heads. In fact, one user made a surprising comment that if Godskin armor faces were individually counted as heads, could reach the impressive figure of 17 heads in total.
Considering this suggestion, 17 heads might seem like an extravagant and excessive number, but it would surely also have its charm. What is certain, in relation to the different conceptions of the players about what the heads represent, is that this sample of what can be built in Elden Ring is funny, but impressive. And, if it continues at this pace, the franchise may decide to take some steps to improve the open world experience.
