The Epic Games Store remains a popular choice for gamers, especially when it comes to snagging great deals. Since it debuted in 2018, Epic Games’ digital showcase has continued to expand with AAA and big indie games being added.
One of the most recent additions came last year, when the Epic Games store received an achievement system. This new achievement system is similar to its competitors like PlayStation and Xbox, with each of these Epic achievements being ranked into four tiers based on their XP value. Achievements are categorized into bronze, silver, gold, and platinum categories, with each awarding a specific amount of experience based on the category. Players can keep track of these available achievements, as well as their progress by match.
Although the achievement system has been added, there are only a certain number of games that currently support it. The Epic Games Store is gradually adding games that support achievements, with roughly three dozen games from its entire library containing achievements. For gamers who are interested in knowing which of these games will have achievements, the Epic Games Store has recently added a new search filter.
It can be found in the browser features column of the Epic Games Store, along with other options such as Single Player, Controller Support, and Competitive, among others. The current list of games that can be viewed under this achievement navigation filter on the Epic Games Store includes a variety of indie games like Hades to AAA games like Alan Wake Remastered, Cyberpunk 2077, and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
Although the current list is small, the number of games that will be available under this filter will grow as more games with achievements are supported. Some of the games that do have achievements are for sale on the Epic Games Store, with discounts from half to even 70% off as well. Epic Games Store users looking to add more XP to their profile should be able to easily find certain games with this new feature.
