Without a doubt, air fryers, without oil or airfryers (no matter what we call them) have been the revelation appliance of the year. At DAP we have already published many air fryer recipes and with this yogurt cakeone of our favorites, we join the list.
As we explained to you in a previous video, the air fryer is more than a fryer, it is an oven that heats up very quickly and, therefore, it can also be used to bake. The main limitation is the size, we have to bake with molds that fit inside the basket. You just have to check that you have the right one.
We have used a 14 cm diameter mold, which fits perfectly in the drawer of the machine in question. As you can see, it has been quite tall and lush. In case you want to make the cake shorter, remove 1/4 of the amounts of each ingredient and run!
In a wide and deep container we mix the cream cheese (better if it is at room temperature), the yogurt, the eggs, the cornstarch and the erythritol. Beat with a whisk until you get a homogeneous mass.
Pour the dough into a 14 cm diameter mold, lined with parchment paper. We cook in the air fryer at 160ºC for 45 minutes u until well curdled. If the surface browns the excess, we cover it with aluminum foil.
Remove the tart from the air fryer and leave cool completely before unmolding and serving. We accompany each portion with red fruits or we take it as is. To taste.

With what to accompany the yogurt cake in an air fryer
This type of cake is great red fruit garnish: strawberries, blueberries, currants, blackberries, raspberries, etc. If you can’t find them fresh, you can always replace them with jam or coulis, faster and with a more suitable consistency to sauce desserts.
