Xiaomi has officially presented a new member of its Redmi 9 line: the Xiaomi Redmi 9i. A smartphone that has been unveiled in India, revealing its features and specifications, as well as its price and availability.
The new low-end of the Chinese firm is reminiscent of other models in the series, although it incorporates a variety of features that make it one of the most interesting budget smartphones on the market. On the other hand, it should be noted that the new smartphone of the firm is specifically quite similar to the Redmi 9A, at least in terms of its design.

The design of the new Xiaomi Redmi 9i is identical to the Redmi 9A, so there is hardly any news in this section. The new smartphone from the firm stands out for having a 6.53-inch HD + screen in which there is a notch shaped like a drop of water that accommodates a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies. In its rear area, a vertical module is located in the upper left corner where the main 13-megapixel camera is housed.
Inside, this mid-range sports a MediaTek Helio G25 processor, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal storage, expandable through microSD cards of up to 512GB; in addition to a powerful 5,000 mAh battery with a 10W charge. As for the operating system, this device will arrive with Android 10 under MIUI 11.
Among other features, the new Xiaomi Redmi 9i also incorporates a headphone jack, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, facial recognition, GPS and splash resistance. A low-end phone that will arrive in two different storage versions and that will go on sale on September 18 in India:
