It is well known that Xbox has never sold very well in Japan, because in that territory Nintendo and Sony have always dominated in sales by a very large difference. However, Microsoft has not given up and for the first time this generation, the Xbox Series XX|S sold more consoles than the PS5 in a week.
According to Famitsu, the Xbox Series X|S finally outsold the PlayStation 5 in a week, in addition to surpassing 200,000 units sold in the region. Although it is still far from reaching the total number of consoles sold by Sony this generation, it is interesting to see how Xbox sales are slowly increasing.
- Nintendo Switch – 65,322
- Xbox Series X|S – 6,225
- PlayStation 5 – 2,693
- 3DS-235
