The Final Fanatasy saga is, on its own merits, one of the best known in the video game industry. Although opinions regarding the latest installments have always been somewhat mixed, generating controversy about whether or not they are worth it, the truth is that the Square Enix franchise continues to maintain a high level of popularity within the JRPG genre.
A little less than a year ago, the Japanese study confirmed the existence of Final Fantasy XVI, which will arrive on PlayStation 5 in the form of a temporary exclusive, for it could later reach Xbox Series X | S, although at the moment the exact date of when it will.

However, and despite the fact that the last numbered installment of the franchise has not yet reached the market, the official Xbox Game Pass application has made a funny slip in one of its notifications. As we can see thanks to the publication of Jez corden, the notification warns us that next August 15 Final Fantasy 22 will leave the service.
The producer of Final Fantasy XVI believes that when 5G goes global, games will move away from consoles to focus on streaming
As we informed you a week ago, Final Fantasy VII will leave Xbox Game Pass along with 5 other games during the month of August. As is evident, it is most likely that at the time of publishing the notification there was a confusion between the seventh installment and the fifteenth, which already left the service several weeks ago, giving rise to the confusion that Final Fantasy 22 is leaving Xbox Game Pass.
It is still a hilarious Xbox Game Pass app error, but it would have been curious if the franchise was about to reach its twenty-second installment (and that it had been written correctly) to generate a huge amount of rumors. However, for now we will have to continue waiting for Square Enix to confirm when Final Fantasy XVI will arrive on Xbox.
