One of the great wonders and improvements that Microsoft brought us with the new generation of consoles and its powerful operating system was the Quick Resume function, which allows us to resume any game instantly without interference. Nevertheless, many Xbox fans ask Microsoft to fix Quick Resume issues in online games, which have drawbacks with continuous gameplay.
Via Twitter, various Xbox gamers have been posting messages requesting that Microsoft fix the issues this feature presents with online gaming. Unlike single player games, in which Quick Resume works wonderfully well, are the online games that have disconnection problems, having to restart the game from scratch.

Something else that doesn’t get enough attention: developers struggling to correctly use Xbox’s Quick Resume. I often have to reboot the game.

Xbox and Developers need to talk out the issues with persistent online connected games, to either disable Quick Resume on that title, or find a way to reconnect the servers on resume. https://t.co/oZe7aV5mtf

Some online games have boot up or server issues that can’t be resolved without rebooting. Fortnite doesn’t.

Sony and Nintendo follow the path of Xbox in the renewal of subscriptions
As we can see from the messages, it seems that a lot of Xbox players want this issue fixed in the Quick Resume. What happens specifically, is that to use the function in online multiplayer games, these are automatically disconnected, not being able to reconnect and having to close the game completely to start again. While this doesn’t happen for all titles, there are a large number of titles with the issue, so expect Phil Spencer to see these messages to speed up the fix.
Xbox has been characterized all this time by knowing how to listen and read its fans, who make comments, suggestions and requests to improve the system through social networks. It’s only a matter of time before Phil Spencer can read these comments and do something about it, encouraging and speeding up the solution to these problems.
