To access the Xbox app you need to have a Samsung 2022 Smart TV, and to access the game catalog you need to have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. However, it is possible to play Fortnite with Xbox Cloud Gaming even if you don’t have a subscription.

The official announcement that Xbox Cloud Gaming would be coming to Samsung Smart TVs came in early June, when Microsoft announced its next step in the strategy to bring Xbox Game Pass to all devices. Thanks to this Smart TV application it will be possible to play more than 100 games from the catalog without the need to have an Xbox console.

This will not be the only way we can play Xbox Game Pass titles on TV, as we recently reported that Microsoft would be working on an external device called Keystone, which would connect to the TV via HDMI in a similar way to Google Chromecast and Amazon Firestick.
