And, apparently, the Chinese company has not stopped stepping on the accelerator pedal in the second quarter of the year.  Xiaomi has overtaken Apple and placed second on the list of biggest smartphone sellers.<\/p>\n<p>The first quarter was a great triumph for both Xiaomi, which reached a market share of 18%;  as for Apple, which seized a 28% market share in the smartphone sales sector.  Ahead of both companies was only Samsung, with 32% of sales.<\/p>\n<p>Now for the first time in history <strong>Xiaomi has overtaken Apple<\/strong> and it has remained with the second position in the global sale of mobile phones in the second quarter of 2021. Its sales have grown more than 300% in Latin America, 150% in Africa and 50% in Western Europe. &#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In another vein, we recently learned that Apple has managed to sell more than 100 million units of iPhone 12 in less than 7 months.
