He allegedly smelled of alcohol and was unable to respond coherently to police officers who arrived on the scene.<\/p>\n<p>According to CNN, Tyson was booked into the Washington County Jail and was charged with public intoxication and trespassing.  He was later released the same day on bail.<\/p>\n<p><amp-ad width=\"300\" height=\"1\" type=\"teads\" data-pid=\"141787\" layout=\"responsive\"\/><\/p>\n<h2>What did the company say about it?<\/h2>\n<p>A Tyson Foods representative said in a statement that the company &#8220;was aware of the incident&#8221; and since it was a personal matter &#8220;they had no additional comment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>John Tyson later apologized for his conduct in a company-wide email.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am embarrassed by personal conduct that is inconsistent with my personal values, the company&#8217;s values \u200b\u200band the high expectations we have for each other here at Tyson Foods,&#8221; he said in the message obtained by The Associated Press.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>&#8220;I made a serious mistake and this has made me reflect deeply on the impact my actions can have on others.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>John Tyson, 32, is the great-grandson of company founder John W. Tyson and the son of company chairman John H. Tyson.<\/p>\n<h2>What is Tyson Foods?<\/h2>\n<p>The company was founded in 1935 in Springdale, Arkansas, and produces chicken under various Tyson, Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, BallPark, Wright, Aidell&#8217;s and State Fair brand names.
