With the aim of strengthening medical education and the health system in Mexico, in addition to offering high-quality services and national coverage, TecSalud and the Mexican Hospital Consortium<\/strong><\/a> (CMH) signed a Collaboration Framework Agreement with three main areas of work: education, hospital services and public policies.<\/p>\n

The agreement was signed by Guillermo Torre, rector of TecSalud and vice president of Research at Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey; Javier Potes, general director of the Mexican Hospital Consortium; and Jorge Valdez, dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey.<\/p>\n

What does it consist of?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The agreement will cover, in the educational field, the development of specific projects to promote the training of medical and administrative talent related to the health sector. The first project will consist of the launch of the Health Systems Management program, for directors and managers of the health sector who seek high-level professional training in the design and management of health ecosystems, which will be launched in conjunction with the EGADE Business School.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The programs that are developed will be aimed both at doctors who work in the Consortium’s hospitals, as well as at personnel from the public sector and other private centers that do not belong to the CMH. Additionally, this agreement allows the possibility of using the CMH hospitals as part of the educational system of TecSalud and the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey.<\/p>\n

In the field of hospital services, TecSalud’s high specialty will be integrated into the units of the Mexican Hospital Consortium, thereby strengthening hospital care. This agreement will allow TecSalud to reach the 47 cities in which the Consortium has a presence with 52 associated hospitals. For its part, the CMH would have the support of highly specialized services, as well as access to cutting-edge medical technology provided by TecSalud.<\/p>\n

In this way, both organizations will be able to offer their patients national coverage, where they currently do not have local services. In addition to the option of sending highly specialized patients who arrive at the 52 hospitals currently associated with the CMH to the TecSalud system.<\/p>\n

For his part, Guillermo Torre, rector of TecSalud and vice president of Research at Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey, commented that this agreement is part of a strategy that intends to strengthen the efforts of the private health sector, training those who provide care, creating synergy in services and influencing public health policies in our country.<\/p>\n
