Breath of the Wild is one of the biggest and most popular games on the Nintendo Switch, but the 2021 release of Metroid Dread has also cemented the game as a Switch classic, and a must-play for many.<\/p>\n

The Serie metroid <\/strong>is one of Nintendo’s biggest games, but before the release of Dread, fans had been waiting for a new game for a long time. Metroid Prime 4 was first announced in 2017, but after changing developers in 2019, news about the game has been quiet, with fans unsure about its current status. The art includes the bright blues seen throughout Breath of the Wild, and Samus’ costume even features Vah Ruta-inspired shoulder armor, in honor of the Divine Beast found in Zora’s Domain, where Mipha, Princess of the Zora resided.<\/p>\n

Samus<\/strong>, from metroid<\/strong>, is one of the most recognizable characters in video games, despite the fact that he does not usually show his face. Over the years, Samus’s Metroid costume has inspired cosplay, art, models, figures, and more, proving to be a popular source of inspiration for creators across a range of media. Thanks to Metroid Dread, interest in the Nintendo series has never been greater, and crossovers between Metroid and games like Zelda <\/strong>are becoming more common in Nintendo communities.<\/p>\n

As two of the biggest names on Switch, it’s no wonder fans want to reimagine Switch.
