Streaming on Twitch via PlayStation 5 is relatively easy, but it’s not that easy when you’re trying to stream on Xbox Series X or S, as you need to download the Twitch app and follow a series of steps.

However, Microsoft seeks to fix this with the “Console Live Streaming” feature, included in its latest Xbox Insider Preview update, which makes accessing Twitch easier and more direct.

With that update, the company also added a beta version of Xbox Cloud Gaming to Xbox One, giving users of older consoles access to the latest games.

To use Twitch’s new streaming feature, just go to the tab “Capture and share” and choose “Live broadcast”. Link your Twitch account using a mobile device or console settings, then press the button “Go live now” to start streaming the game.

“This feature only streams the game, so viewers will see a pause screen if the user exits the game or switches applications,” Microsoft notes.
