the blockbuster movie Spider-Man: No Way Home owes his millions to the impeccable way in which he sold us nostalgia, among other things, bringing back Spider-Man from Toby Maguire. By entering the multiverse, that installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) found the perfect excuse to have three versions of the same superhero on screen; each one, with their respective entourage of fervent fans. But will that be all? Certainly the door was left open to arrange another meeting spidey in the future. And if so, would Maguire be interested in participating?
In a recent interview with marvel.comthe actor of the saga spider-man directed by Sam Raimi (2002-2007) recalled the great pleasure he felt when he was invited to participate in no way home along with Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield, also interpreters of the beloved wall-climber.
This was what he said:
“When they called me, I thought: ‘Finally!’ [ríe]. I got the call and immediately set out to come do this, though not without nerves. She was thinking, ‘What will this look like and what will the experience be?’ But coming up with beautiful, creative, talented people and playing together? It’s like: ‘Yeah!’ It’s fun and exciting.
On the other hand, Tobey Maguire hinted that it would be practically impossible for him to refuse if he is summoned again for anything related to Spider-Man. Will this be his way of signing up for future phases of the MCU?
“I love these movies and I love all the different sagas,” added the 47-year-old. «If these guys called me and said, ‘Would you show up tonight to hang out and fool around?’ or ‘Would you show up to do this movie, read a scene or do something Spiderman?’, it would be a ‘yes!’. Why wouldn’t you want to do that?«

Maguire comes from serving as executive producer of the epic comedy Babylon from director Damien Chazelle, where he also boasts a small supporting role, in the shoes of an extravagant criminal leader. The film is nominated in three Oscar 2023 categories, including Best Original Score for Justin Hurwitz.
