Rumors have been around for a while that Vincent D’Onofrio could return as Kingpin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and now we may have the answer as to whether or not it will happen.
Earlier this summer, a rumor began to circulate that Vincent D’Onofrio would reprise the role of Daredevil’s Wilson Fisk / Kingpin in the series. Disney +, Hawk Eye.
Those rumors were also in tune with the rumor that his Daredevil co-star Charlie Cox will supposedly return as Matt Murdock / Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk.
Now according to Lizzie Hill from The Cosmic Circus (who has been releasing some reliable firsts in recent months) seems to confirm that we will see D’Onofrio in the MCU “It’s true. Vincent D’Onofrio is returning to his Marvel role as Wilson Fisk. Although, it may seem a bit larger than life than you remembered the next time you saw it. “
It also adds “Kingpin will be great and in charge” in the series Hawkeye coming to Disney + and, as suspected, the character will undergo a “Soft reset” for his due debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel Studios will reformulate the characters of the Marvel series on Netflix as variants
Rather than canon the now-canceled Marvel Television projects, it appears those versions of the characters are being treated as “Variants” of the multiverse, so they will not be exactly the same as we met them in the Netflix series.
Likewise, this news we have to take once again as a rumor and not a certainty, but given the secrecy of Marvel Studios and some of the misleading tactics they use in their productions, we will not leave doubts until the premiere of Eye of the hawk next November 24.
