Hard times lie ahead for fans of John Wick, without an absolute confirmation about the completion of the fifth installment. Director Chad Stahelski stated in a recent interview that the hitman’s next chapter will have to wait because both he and Keanu Reeves have agreed on their next big mission: take a breather.
The above happened while Stahelski was talking with The Hollywood Reporter about the necessities of the forthcoming fourth installment. An exciting project that will bring back Keanu Reeves, but that will also work as the starting point for the creation of various spin offs of history.

«In our minds, Keanu and I are done for the moment. Let’s give John Wick a break,” he confirmed. “I’m sure the studio has a plan. If everyone loves it and it turns out well, we’ll take a break.”
What is certain is that the world will surrender to the fourth installment of the saga. The film opened its run with professional critics with a 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. With some comments that specified that perhaps we are facing the best episode of the franchise.

Stahelski commented that every time he finished a John Wick movie, he considered it to be his last, so the promise of him might not hold up as much to fans.
