Once again we have to be bearers of bad news. Once again, the bad news come tied to the name of Dying Light 2. Techland’s title was announced in 2018, and it has already been delayed several times. The title announced several months ago that its release date was the December 7, 2021, and they showed us a great gameplay trailer to complement. Now however Dying Light 2 has been delayed again.
A) Yes Techland has confirmed it through a statement on his official Twitter account. In the social network, the company describes the reason why Dying Light 2 faces a new delay, and that this time its launch is scheduled for the month of February 2022. According to Techland, the title still needs a few coats of paint to «optimize and polish»Some aspects of the game.
“The team is progressing little by little with the production and the game is close to the finish line. The game is finished and we are currently in the testing period. It is by far the largest and most ambitious project we have ever done. Unfortunately, we have realized that to reach the level we want, we need more time to polish and optimize it, “commented the CEO of Techland on Twitter.

Paweł Marchewka, CEO of Techland, commented the following: «We’re sorry to keep you all waiting a little longer, but we want the game to meet expectations upon launch, and we don’t want to compromise on this.«. Dying Ligt 2: Stay Human he delved a little deeper into his combat and parkour during Gamescom 2021, where they showed us a new trailer for the game. Hopefully this is the final one, with Dying Light 2 landing on all platforms early next year.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been announced for Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5 and PC. The title has a new release date for the February 4, 2022, and aims to have microtransactions and crossplay between platforms. Stay tuned for new information to come!
