Stickers are one of the most used resources on WhatsApp. These serve to express all kinds of emotions, in a simple and enjoyable way. Due to its popularity, many people choose to create their own, but to achieve it they must resort additional applicationsHowever, in the future they may be created directly from the messaging application client for computers.

According WaBetaInfoOne of the new functions that WhatsApp developers are working on has to do with stickers. Precisely, they want users to be able to convert any photo on a sticker in a few steps. In this sense, resorting to external applications would become an alternative, since new stickers could be created directly from the app.

At the moment this interesting function is in development only for the beta version of WhatsApp Desktop, but not for iOS and Android. In this sense, it should soon arrive at the beta clients for Windows and macOS, although there is no specific date. And time later the deployment would occur to all users.

WhatsApp and the new function to send stickers

As you can see in the screenshots, the operation of the sticker creator integrated in WhatsApp is very simple. When the function is available, when sending a photo, users will find a new sticker icon. This will be located to the right of the bar to write comments. When pressed, the app will turn the image into a sticker and show a preview.

It should be noted that the function, for now, is exclusive to the PC version of WhatsApp. Also, as it is under development, has not yet reached the beta versions, although that could happen soon. It’s also possible that while testing lasts, developers will make changes that make it look or work differently.

    Improvements for temporary messages

One of the most interesting functions that WhatsApp has incorporated in recent times are the temporary messages. In other words, group and contact conversations self-destruct after seven days. However, to access this function, it must be activated manually, contact by contact or group by group.

But WhatsApp is working on a new function which will allow you to configure the default temporary messages for all chats. The new configuration will be available in Settings > Bill > Privacy. There, users will be able to activity the “Disappearing Mode” function. Of course, just like the standard function, the people with whom a chat is started will be notified.
