The new WhatsApp update
Meta’s messaging platform, launched a beta version open to the public of its new application dedicated exclusively to users of devices that use the macOS system, that is, it will be a desktop edition only for Apple computers.
According to the information, this application is already available in the App Store application store, and it is not a complete version of the program, because it is a test that will be subject to constant and recurring improvements.
The creators stressed that, as in the case of the desktop version of Windows, it will be updated to add new functions that approximate the experience of monitors to that of mobile users.
The official WABetaInfo website explains that users who “decide to download this desktop application will be able to link these native platforms for Mac to the WhatsApp accounts of their cell phones, whether they are Android or iOS by scanning a QR code as shown. does in the web version of the application”.
Also, according to the website, this new version of the application has been optimized to take advantage of most of the features of Apple devices, so the speed of program response is boosted by high performance processors.
Also, as a special part of the update, it was designed to look and feel the same as any of the native apps for Mac devices.
