Cybercrime costs in the country amount to more than $ 3 billion a year, according to Sekura. But according to a report by the security firm McAfee and the Center for International Strategic Studies (CSIS), in 2020 cybercrime amounted to a trillion dollars, equivalent to 1% of world GDP.
Sekura estimates that Mexican companies only allocate 5% of their budget to cybersecurity, something that must change due to the risks it represents for its operation.
