The POCO M2 Pro is just around the corner and we have bad news if you want to buy it. This device has many ballots so as not to leave their native country, India. Today we can know more details of its characteristics, which sound to us from another well-known device. POCO will not launch this M2 Pro as a completely new mobile but will rename it and a few details to make it a POCO device. At the moment we already know what device it is and why you will not be able to buy it.
This is the new POCO M2 Pro that will be presented tomorrow
The most important thing you should know about this POCO M2 Pro is that it is the same device as the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The company has changed its name to try to have more market share in India because in this country the POCO brand is very popular. The leaked details of the POCO M2 Pro let us see that it will have little difference with the Redmi Note 9 Pro that is already sold in many parts of the world.
Among its features, we can find a Snapdragon 720G processor, a 6.67-inch screen, a 64 MP quad-camera or a 5,000 mAh battery. It also comes with NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a neat design of metal and glass. In Spain, the Redmi Note 9 Pro can already be bought from 269 euros ($ 303) with these same characteristics.
You will not be able to buy the POCO M2 Pro in your country
You live in Spain? In Latin America? Both markets will host in some places the sale of the Redmi Note 9 Pro (in Spain has already started), so this POCO M2 Pro does not have much room. A couple of months ago the POCO company announced a split between its subsidiary in India and the global one, which means that they operate independently and that some launches in India should not correspond to the rest of the world.
This is almost certainly what will happen with the POCO M2 Pro. It does not make sense for the company to launch this mid-range device in Spain or Latin America since you can already buy the exact same device under a different name.
If you liked what we have told you about the POCO M2 Pro you can go to your trusted store and see if the Redmi Note 9 Pro is available, an almost identical device. Do you see it interesting? Do you think POCO does well to launch renowned devices? Tell us more in the comments or on social media!
