Who and when?
In the first part of the letter, it is necessary to specify in detail who is presenting it and the date on which the letter of resignation is presented, for this, consider these data:
- Date (day, month, year and place)
- Full name
- Optionally you can add email or contact number
Just as the name of the employee submitting the voluntary resignation is specified, the company with which the bond is being broken must be indicated, so including the company name is key.
It should also be noted who the letter is addressed to, such as the person in charge of the human resources area. If you do not know this information, you can write “to whom it may concern”.
You can write down the position you had held until now and the team to which you belonged, as well as stating that you do not leave pending in your work.
You must indicate the reason for the cut of the relationship, however, this does not imply that you must give details. In other words, if you already have another job, you do not have the obligation to mention which company you are migrating to, you can simply state that you have made the decision to leave the position you held until then to take on new professional challenges.
