As the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II multiplayer beta garners mainstream attention, Warzone continues to evolve. Days ago, several content creators started using the accessory “40mm M20 Concussion Coupler” for assault rifles. Here’s why it’s wreaking so much havoc on the battlefield.
40mm M20 Concussion Coupler in Warzone
The “40mm M20 Concussion Coupler” is an accessory that you can equip to any assault rifle in Warzone. It allows you to toggle between rifle fire and a grenade launcher that fires stun grenades. You can carry up to 7 stun grenades in this accessory plus the 2 you carry in your lethal equipment, which gives us a total of 9 total stunners per match.
In case you didn’t know, stun grenades explode on impact (minimum distance of 5 meters approx) and has two effects: they distort the vision and slow down the character. Not to be confused with flash grenades, which also have their grenade launcher attachment for rifles (as well as explosives and more).
The transition between Assault Rifle and Grenade Launcher fire is almost instantaneous and can be faster if you have a SMG equipped with the “Excess Means” perk. You can see the accessory in action in streamer Winghaven’s video titled “I did it again…”.
Remember that you can use it on any assault rifle: GRAU 5.56, Cooper Carbine, Vargo 52, etc. In any case, it is a very effective tactic when you go with friends… as long as you know how to manage stun grenades. His effect is really annoying and leaves you sold to any player who knows what he’s doing. I encourage you to try it!
