In our Coin Master guide we have shared a lot of tips, tricks, recommendations and suggestions on each of the elements of the mobile title developed by Moon Active.
We’ve talked about how to protect your village from being attacked, how to create your own team to progress at a good pace, or how to get more spins to spend on the slot machine. Coin Master. But until now we had not talked about another of the most interesting elements of the game, the pets.
Coin Master pets are a differential and essential element to considerably increase the earnings in the game, especially the coins, but they also enhance the rest of the Coin Master rewards. Below we will explain in more detail what pets are, what different types of pets there are, how to level them up, and which of your pets you should use at any time.
What are Coin Master pets?
Pets are little animals that allow you to increase the rewards of attacks on other villages. As you may know, when you attack a village with hammers and you succeed in the attack, by smashing one of the figures in the village you get a substantial amount of coins. The same happens with the looting of pigs, if you are right looking for the treasures you will be able to steal large amounts of coins.
Well, thanks to pets you can considerably increase the amounts of coins that you gain by attacking or stealing from a village. But there are also pets to defend you! Also, as one of your pets levels up, their abilities also get boosted, increasing their attack or defense percentage.
To level up a pet you will need experience jarswhich are obtained in team chests, in event chests or in the reward calendar, among others.
These are the pets available in Coin Master:
- Fox: Increase coins in village robberies.
- Tiger: Increase coins in attacks on villages.
- Hippopotamus: Increases defense against attacks on your village.
Coin Master’s pets are vitally important, especially when stealing from other villages, but more on that later. First we will briefly explain how each pet works and its abilities.
All Coin Master Pets
Pets need two items to be active, which is why we like Coin Master so much! Because one element leads you to others, which in turn require other elements. It is a very simple mechanic but with a great complexity of elements, and to a large extent that is what makes Coin Master such an addictive title, because there is always something to do.
For a pet to be active it needs to eat, here one of the elements we were talking about comes into play. Coin Master gives away food dishes for pets every 24 hours and you can accumulate them. These food dishes can also be found in event chests, tournament chests, team chests, and even in the reward calendar.
The other Coin Master item that pets need are the experience points, which are obtained through purple experience francs. As previously mentioned, the more levels a pet has, the higher its percentage of rewards.
Below we talk about how the abilities of each pet work.
Fox
The fox steals coins from other players’ villages by digging holes you haven’t chosen. When you get 3 little pigs in Coin Master slot you can steal coins from another player, but you can only choose 3 holes to dig for coins.
When you have selected 3 holes to dig for coins, the fox appears on the scene and steals from a 4th hole. The amount you steal will be proportional to your level. If you have a level 30, 40 or 50 fox it will get you tons of coins, easily turning a 30 million heist into a 45 million heist. It is by far the pet that will earn you the most money.
Tiger
The tiger also increases Coin Master’s rewards, but instead of doing so on robberies it does so on hammer attacks. When you get 3 hammers in the slot you have the right to attack the village of a rival (or a friend). You must choose to hit one of the five figures in the village, after doing so, the figure will be destroyed if the rival does not have shields.
After attacking, regardless of whether it is a successful attack or not, the tiger will claw the village and get a small amount of reward. A level 30 or level 40 tiger will be able to get you around 2 million or 3 million per attack. The amount is not very high with respect to the fox, but it is true that they usually play more hammer attacks than robberies with pigs.
Hippopotamus
The hippo is the last pet to be unlocked in Coin Master and it is a defense pet. The hippo will provide you with full protection for a specified amount of time.
Of course, the higher your hippo’s level, the longer it will protect you from other players’ attacks.
Which pet should I use at all times?
It is a very good question, since you will have to use a pet that fits your needs according to the objective you want to achieve. For example, if you need to earn a lot of coins in Coin Master, our recommendation is that you use the fox. If you bet “x100”, get 3 little pigs in the slot and also have the fox activated, you can win several billion.
If, on the other hand, you need more perseverance, we recommend using the tiger. It won’t give you as many coins as the fox, but by having it enabled the Coin Master algorithms will land you even more hammer attacks on the slots. It can also be useful if the special event being held requires hammers to earn points.
Finally, we suggest you use the hippo only in those situations where you won’t be playing for a long time. It is the pet that we use the least in Coin Master, but if you have no shields and you have no rolls left to get protection, you can always activate the hippo.
